Ah, Malvern. Its lovely here !

We have been here exactly a week now. Mostly sunny weather and tropically humid at times but what a lovely place ! We've been to Kerry, Inverness, Snowdonia and West Mayo but there's something about the Malvern Hills that keeps calling us back every couple of years. My wife's grandparents used to take her here when she was little. It was our first destination when we started caravanning eight years ago (when our youngest was only 8 weeks old). Since we moved to Ireland its become an expensive habit because the return ferry comes in at £500 just to say hello but its worth every penny.

Nice family reunion as well. My in - laws came up for a few days and my wife's sister and husband + kids camped in the Camping and Caravan Club next door so lots of stuff crammed on to the BBQ every evening and lots of walking ( Worcestershire Beacon, British Camp, Midsummer Hill etc) and too much ale - hic but as usual the CC Blackmore site in Hanley Swan proves how excellent a caravan site can be with a bit of care and the kids have made a gang of new friends which, thanks to facebook, they stay in touch with.

Back at work next Monday Crying or Very sad
