Question regarding Corrosion Warranty
If you have a rusty bumper, under the Corrosion Warranty do Land Rover have to replace it or re-paint it? LANDYWATCH

They are under no obligation to replace they can repair/paint it if they like, but in reality they will replace as its more cost effective, I,e one off one on 30 minutes work as opposed to several hours prep , paint etc. Thumbs Up

if only it were that simple. the rust is bubbling from underneath the paint and there doesn't appear to be any defects in the paint to let water in so not sure the way oil would help any?

The best thing to do with the bumper is take it off, sand it down and repaint it with layers of better paint then put it back with stainless bolts.

Yes..eventually..when it's down to you..
But whilst it's under LR warranty I believe they should replace all corroded parts.
Sometimes you have to push..but they will if you do Make today a little better than yesterday but not so good as tomorrow....

my 2010 XS is in at the minute, rusty bulkhead, leaky front windscreen (as standard) Wink corrosion on the roof by the nearside safari window, rutsy headlamp rings, corroded wing mirrors and rusty rear step.
