Living out of the defender for 11 days i've found loads of little things that I need to do. Lots of rust protection but first give it a good clean.......after some long needed sleep Very Happy
Loads of space for a family of 4 and a dog and loads of friendly waves by other defender drivers. Thumbs Up Clare

Nice set up you have there! Like the roof tent, did you camp wild or on sites?

The kids do love it Thumbs Up
We've not yet gathered the confidence yet to camp wild or the knowledge on the law (if there is any law's...?) But as soon as I sort the underside out I shall be hunting down the local 4X4 club and checking out excursion details as we're not yet brave enough to go it alone Embarassed Clare

@Sta1ker

Your trip looked fab! Nice pics! Seems like you hit on the good weather too.

We are venturing out with our HM roof tent for the first time next week. Will probably be raining and windy! Rolling Eyes

You'll stay nice & dry in your tent Pam! We have camped on a previous occasion when it did rain and all bar the tent was dry, so we were very pleased. Good luck with the weather and enjoy all the attention you get! Clare
