Chequer plate bolts
Are all the bolts that hold chequer plate to wing tops, bonnet, sills and rear section between wheel arch and rear x-member the same length ?

Currently I have 110 in Caladonian blue, with black chequer plate and rust screws. So thinking of removing checking/cleaning/painting and fitting back with stainless screws. 1999 Defender TD5 110

Yes they are. I've just upgraded with some from eBay. The stainless bolt heads on black looks really good.
Now to replace all the other LR rusty offerings. Neutral

Just had a quick count, 47 bolts! Black on black (is that a film?) or Stainless on black....? 1999 Defender TD5 110

Black on black looks neater. The silver on black only works on mine because my car is silver.

Now I am not sure what to go for. Stainless to go with the stainless bolts for hinges, bonnet hinge, mud flap brackets and soon to be stainless rear x-member bolts, or plain black on black chequer plate. 1999 Defender TD5 110
