What does the MOT say about bigger wheels?
Just asking before I buy wheels and regret anything. |

I am going for 265x75x16 Cooper STT and have ordered them from Event Tyres. They are booked in for next Friday and are coming to the house to do the balance and fitting. Which is brilliantly convenient as I can just roll the boosts into the garage as each one comes off. The other point with Event was the price £124 per tyre fully inc. Couldn't get anywhere near that price anywhere else. Proud owner 110 Utility XS Ex RR Sport HST V8 Ex Td5 90 |

I got some great advice from the forum members and as pointed out by Bob Neville 265x75x16 used to be an option from LR. I settled on the Zu as they are TUV approved. I also wrote to my insurer NFU and the underwriters have accepted my setup and amended the policy. With the smaller offset of 11 on the Zu they will sit just nicely within the arches and not cause any issues with the MOT. Proud owner 110 Utility XS Ex RR Sport HST V8 Ex Td5 90 |

Be good to see some pics of yours once they are up. Having powdercoated my chequer, and painted my grill and light surrounds some black wheels would look very good.
