Have a look at hyper juice batteries. Not sure what voltages your cam corder works on but hyper juice keeps our ipads going all weekend.

I thought about an inverter but don't like the idea of 240v in a leaky Land Rover

Thanks...however I can't see that they support the proprietary connector on the Canon. Will check further on their website etc. Cheers Simon |
