Canon hfr26 - how to power in Defender
Hi,

I hope you knowledgable folks can help.

I have the above HD camcorder and want to use it in my Defender to record my laning trips. Problem is that the battery only lasts 60mins or so.

I'm looking for suggestions how to power it from the vehicle.

I'd also interesested in suggestions for mounting the camera inside the car.

Have a look at hyper juice batteries. Not sure what voltages your cam corder works on but hyper juice keeps our ipads going all weekend.

I thought about an inverter but don't like the idea of 240v in a leaky Land Rover Surprised

Thanks...however I can't see that they support the proprietary connector on the Canon. Will check further on their website etc.
