Anyone fancy helping out with Marshalling for the Interclub challenge 12.
To give you a taste of what happened last year http://www.4x4adventures.co.uk/_main/_reports11/110820_wce.htm The event will take place over the weekend of 18 & 19 Aug 12 at split venues (keeping with tradition!) Saturday - West Harptree, Bristol Saturday night stage - Wellington Sunday - Wellington We will be running a five vehicle team event, all team special stages with the exception of the night stage(s). Looks 99% certain  SWHMBO'd has asked if she can marshall with me (mainly to keep me in order  ) so she can actually see what a challenge event is all about ?

Wafly, you, as is anyone, are more then welcome to come and spectate, or marshall if you wish.
Rob - will endeavour to do so, thank you Nev - no problem with us, that would be great. could you email me please or let me have an email address and i will add you to the list. for those who are thinking about it: It involves running a stage (with someone else). stages are set by us, all instructions for marshalls and those that you give to the competitors are provided by us in advance, as are stop watches to time them and the necessary forms to log the teams in and score them through the stage. we even provide the pens too and lumi jackets. If you have not marshalled before we will team you up with someone who has marshalled with us before. You are also entered in the marshalls draw, you receive a ticket for the draw for each section you marshall, ie if you do sat day, Sat night, and sun day that would be 3 tickets. March Madness prize was an LED Lensor P7. You can volunteer for sat day, Sat night or sun day, or any combination of. With luck Philon will enter again and offer to do a Bar B Q too!? Sorry i forgot to say, the downside is that you have to stay on your section! the plus side is you will get to see lots of different ways of doing the same obstacles and get to learn an awful lot, laughter is also guaranteed! Only a few days to go to this one now.
Looking forward to having you along Bob (+ Alex) will be interested to hear what you think of what we get up to! I am back up to sites tomorrow onwards, will check emails later tomorrow but that will be it then until post event. If anything turns up then please phone me rather than rely on here or emails.
