Is there such a thing for a 110.
A mate of mine has just purchased a 110 on a 59 plate, it's brand new with the following Roof rack snorkel checker plate soft front nudge bar spots winch Inc bumper belly plate ! I think that's about it ? My question is should it have HD springs as the whole thing teeters over the front, there seems to be loads of space between the rear wheel arch and tyre and hardly any on the fronts, and it looks like it's dropped more over the past week! It's a company vehicle that's why he went to town on it but I feel there's too much weight over the front end, over slightly uneven ground the front mud guards scrape on the surface ? Any sugestions ? DEFENDER XS CSW 08 TONGA GREEN |

Yes they are the same ones as from about 1984 onwards. I have them in my Puma. Also as an aside the standard Puma front springs aren't handed but the HD ones are where as previously the 110 springs were all handed.
My Puma has everything you mention and a few extras. This site is a great reference: http://www.members.shaw.ca/jbarge/springinfo.html You're looking for NRC9448 and NRC9449 110 2.4TDCi 110 300Tdi LROCV ::: AULRO.com |

yup - pretty much a cert if you have a winch hanging over the front. One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS

I also had the same on the front end of my old 110 Click image to enlarge Did think about some HD front springs etc, But even with 255/85's on,, never had a problem with the front end on or off road,, even fully loaded Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated California F1, 75th 110 "Kermit", 50th Ann V8, 90 V8 Hybrid, 55 Series 1 Main Brian James Trailer Dealer for South West UK |

From memory the max front axle weight for standard springs is 1250 kg (could be 1350) and we found our kitted up Mountain Rescue 110 vehicle was at the limit with no driver / passengers / fuel on board. We had to get new springs fitted and the vehicle plating documentation agreed by VoSA.
