undertray
Hi.

According to my owners book I ought to have a pair of trays that cover the engine and boxes bolted to my chassis. I do not have them. I guess they were lost in the dim and distant to aid servicing. Should I get some(assuming they exist) to keep the crud out and to try to smooth the air flow under the car a little?

Anyone got some for a late 300tdi that they want to be shut of.

Cheers in advance. Rhubarb and custard let fly with their secret weapon.

if there the same as the td5 ones you dont really need them, they just collect mud and oil leaks which isnt a big help, i still have mine on my 90 but alot of people take them off Thumbs Up CSK Automotive

I took off what was left of mine a fortnight ago, as said above all they do is collect crap and oil leaks(must check whether there's any in mine as it hasn't leaked for a while Whistle ) It didn't serve much purpose on mine except get hooked up when trying to get out of deep ruts.

I think they're supposed to reduce cabin noise, but I've recently removed the gearbox one from my TD5 and can't tell any difference. Darren
