I use whatever is in the shed at work, it's pretty much all the same.

Any ethelene glycol based stuff (the blue type) as per the workshop manual will be fine for a Tdi. Think the Td5s (and presumably Tdcis) use the pink OAT stuff.

Think my last batch was JCB stuff!

As Retroanaconda said they are pretty much the same, although you shouldn't mix the colors as they react together...
get a pipette if your not sure which yours has in it to be safe...

Well im sure I had green coolant but after noticing it was very low I topped it up with the only coolant I had, which was blue Shocked Should I drain it down?

I really need to find the reason why it was so low in the first place, I did notice a small puddle of coolant on the drive under my defender!

The Tdi uses the standard blue coolant you can get from any autofactor.

I think the 'green' colour would have actually been the blue one... The pink is very obviously red but the blue can look grey/blue/greenish Thumbs Up
