the ride on the 300 is the best; the cornering is really planted even on 235/85s because it has the konis on it. The Td5 just had the spring drop but kept the factory shocks. Personally i think the shocks make far more difference than the lowering,
are you running gas shocks Chris? |

at the moment i still have the standards but was thinking of going for either the koni or fox shocks

hi phil,
i cannot recall any tyre skip, but on smooth wet tarmac the 300 tdi could drift on roundabouts when encouraged ![]() the td5 was a harsher ride; 5 hrs driving to south Cornwall i was nowhere near as fresh as the 300 tdi long journeys. J E Engineering did the suspension mods on both vehicles |
