Range Rover Classic or BL in disguise?

Hi All.

I am about to pick up a 1986 RRC and am looking for interior door bezels for the rear doors which are missing. I can order the "correct" parts from LR Series (DBP6533PMA and DBP6532PMA) but these are not the ones that have been on the vehicle.

There is a number on the back of the bezel (YOO3265) and a British Leyland symbol but I don't think this is an official parts number.

I haven't got an online photo account and haven't tried posting a picture here before but can PM anyone if they think they might be able to help.

Other than this and a rust bubble on the lower tailgate the RR is just about perfect (only 60k miles too!) so I can't wait to pick her up.

Yes, that will be the correct part number (at the time).

What colour should the bezel be, remember that there was a shared parts bin with Austin Rover so Maestro/Montego parts are worth looking - from a Rover/XPart supplier.

For example, it could be that FVJ10001LNF (Ash Grey) or FVJ10001LOY (Granite) are suitable.

PS what's the chassis number (last eight characters, but blank the last 3 if posting publicly)?

Reason I ask is that 1986 was a major changeover point for the RR.

FWIW my 1988 90 has BL logos on the keys and various plastic parts.

Me again! The DBP numbers you've been given are the same as all push-button Defenders (which is correct for same RRC)
