Mine's all shiny nicely black glossy painted there Totally rustless, thanks to maybe one single Defender that was assembled with some care ... Could that really have happened You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

Hey ginjez thats exactly what I did to mine. In fact my efforts look just as rough as yours (Zag did a really neat job on his) but not a drop of rain has made its way inside since so who cares ?

I did all along there with butyl tape (temporary measure) a few months back and no rain has got in since.
When I went to the dealer recently, he tutted and said "it might trap water" Tell someone you love them today because life is short. But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |
