possible forum relay from Carlisle to SouthWest ?
My son has been promised a new bike from his uncle and it's waiting for him in Carlisle - is there a possibility of transporting a bike to Wiltshire ? (i know it's a long shot)

my uncle owns a bike shop in keswick, there is a local company called hart distribution that will courier it same / next day for £20... /£28 with insurance

Send the lad up there National Express and get him to cycle it home! It'll keep him out of mischief and prevent him from terrorising any wildlife he may find in your garden for a few days during the school holidays. Laughing It'll also be cheaper than £28 for his age and it's downhill all the way home.

What shop? And does/did he own a b&b guest house as well?

I did actually set my sights higher and was prepared to relocate, I then applied for Salisbury, but "The position has already been taken by someone much more qualified and adept" so the City Council informed me!
