This can't be a cheap mod. I shudder to think what a new 3.2 TDCi costs? 1951 80" S1 2.0

i think depending on the cost of engine 12-15k before you recoupe the money from your engine but could be alot less depending on engine cost steve 2015 2.2 tdci hardtop xs 3.2 conversion DONE 238bhp and 707nm torque and thats just the start ;-P hybrid turbo in build -done ready to fit ashcroft atb in transfer box 6 speed auto in build |

I paid 9250.00 for my new engine and box. Then modification costs from Ashcroft at arround 800 to convert the gearbox to 4x4 WITHOUT me having to providing a puma box for parts.
I should hopefully be able to shave a couple off K of this price when my bulk engine purchase arrives. Then its only fitting and my wiring and specially modifyed ECU needed to make it work As said by you Steve, people should be able to recoup a good few quid from the old removed 2.4TDCI parts. 10K for engine parts yes I think doable, Though still I need to sit down and work out the wiring and module cost needed also so I can price the electronics, It needs some very trick work on the engine ecu to make it run correclty out of the Transit allong with some serious coding on my part for the module communication to tie it in correctly with the Defender 2.4 Ipac.

Chalk and Cheese for the better, The 3.2 is far, far advanced in drivability torque and power aswell as the near factory fit it gives.
Once the LRO artical comes out those that havent seen how factory it looks will get a better idea of how good the install is in comparison to my TDV6 I built. Its like it was in there when it was built Today I have started the silicone hose mandrel set for the intercooler hoses and a couple of water hoses to make fitment even easer, this will complement the Decat fronnt pipe prototype I already made last week. Your exxhaust will need a special build to suite your Janspeed I think, We can make something for it to get it going but it may eed to go back to them for a matching frot pipe if you need the same grade stainless.
