As Joao was camping not too far from where I live, we tooled up and set off to meet up. Sadly as his partner was ill we couldn't go do any laning or anything but had a nice few hours chatting Landrovers.

I was surprised to learn that Defenders in Portugal only get 2 years warranty (!) and that the prices differ quite radically from ours, a DC is significantly cheaper than a station wagon for example.

BTW, I had the LR Gold tour and Driving experience last week at Solihull....One of the best days of my life!
