This is my iPad mount (also a RAM one), if it helps. Got it off Brendan who posted just ahead of me!

(fits under the standard seat runner bolt)

and spoil the standard Land Rover theme? Razz

If anyone buys Ram mounts please note that since they are American they use imperial sized allen bolts/nuts etc. So you might just have to dig out those old imperial allen keys which now lurk under that pile of things which are too useful to throw away at the back of the drawer which you have forgotten about!

Or in my case I went and borrowed one off a mechanic 3 doors away Laughing

Just fixed the broken wire that was stopping the drivers electric window working. Also noticed that one of the central locking wires was on the verge of splitting, so repaired that too. Rubbish design Rolling Eyes Darren

finished off wiring the dualys to the aux fuse box, and the LED bar wiring and the webasto electrical feed. all in and ready to be fused up. just waiting for some HD waterproof connectors from the web.

Next is the webasto fitting, plumbing, finish the wiring and then testing .

Got my truck tostart for the first time since I started building it a long time ago !!
It even moved under its own steam , on the ramp, and only a inch or so, but enough to prove the auto is functioning. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Tomorrow will be topping up gearbox oil, power steering fluid, and then finish sorting the cooling system.

Drove from Sussex to Wiltshire on Friday, then via a few places in Oxfordshire up to the Lake District on Saturday. Then up to Dumfries and Galloway on Sunday, stayed there a couple of nights and just drove back from D&G to Sussex today, via Cambridgeshire.

Just over a thousand miles in all, car never skipped a beat and averaged nearly 33mpg which isn't bad for a 20-year-old car that's done 170k!

@retro - good to meet you friday and that the trip went well.

I finished the Amber D2 wiring and the LED Bar wiring and started the webasto wiring. Waterproof connectors in and ready for rack mounts for the LED bar.

Still loads to do but i have most of the kit now to complete the truck preparation.

Other than VWP - where's a good place to buy convoluted trunking ?
