used approved warranty
Hi guys,
Just had a lot of work done under the above warranty, after three years manufacturers ran out I had one years used approved from stratstone.
I booked it in for, leak from rear diff, leak from transfer box and leak from front swivel housing, they did all that and they found more problems which were, leak from rear break calliper, which they replaced and leak from break servo unit which they also replaced, and a few other little jobs which they found.
All in all, was in dealers for two weeks Big Cry
Glad I didn't have to pay for that bill. Thumbs Up Mr. Green Very Happy
Hope this helps for anyone else coming up to their end of warranty. 08 def 90 ht stornaway grey

Yes, had considered the extra warranty, but doesn't look like it covers much for the 400 odd quid it is.

my defender also suffered from leaky seals.. few bolts missing when i bought it, windscreen wipers that decided not to work every now and again, also had a tiny bit of corrosion on the corner behind the dash so asked them about that, full new bulkhead window frame the lot, about 1" square of rust was all that was found.. just over 3 weeks without my defender currently in a courtesy defender of theirs with the loudest tires know.

Worked well with our disco 3, 2 new differentials, new ignition, new fuseboard, new front axle hub.. That's on the second year of the extended warranty. Well worth it
