I was running some cable into the engine bay today and whilst underneath I noticed a sensor in the sump that had been disconnected. Looks like a temp sender to me? I connected it back up and not noticed anything?
Also noticed a connector attached to the side of the centre diff that has nothing attached to it, should this be like this? Craig Rogers 2007 Puma 110 XS 2011 Evoque Coupe Dynamic Lux www.craigrogers.photography Last edited by x-isle on 14th Jul 2012 9:32pm. Edited 1 time in total |

Here's a photo of it showing it disconnected.
Can someone confirm that it is a temp/level sender. Click image to enlarge Craig Rogers 2007 Puma 110 XS 2011 Evoque Coupe Dynamic Lux www.craigrogers.photography |

Great stuff cheers.
If it senses temp does it take part in the ecu telemetry? This could be psychological but after reconnecting it seems to pull better up hill? But that could be that it's also just had a service. Craig Rogers 2007 Puma 110 XS 2011 Evoque Coupe Dynamic Lux www.craigrogers.photography |

There is a spare sensor on the centre diff, Yeovil LR checked this for me last year. It should be clipped on the housing and has been removed post 2009.
