I'm interested to buy a new set of these original equipment waterproof front seat covers for the Recaros in my SVX.
Any of the site sponsors have these in their assortment? There is a pair on offer on eBay, but if a site sponsor would offer them, obviously would give them preference. As reference here is the ebay site link: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Land-Rover-Defen...231cd6581b I need shipping to preferably an address in Belgium, not here in in Switzerland where customs are too greedy on taxing such imports Repeat the LR part number for this version is VPLDS0038. Tks killer, but think will stick to the OEM version I mentioned. They must be around £120-130 for the set as that is as per the ebay listing, which does not sound too bad. Seems difficult to really find them. All LR equipment suppliers websites who list them as "in stock", when inquiring, say they have them on back order only... And no clear idea when they will be available again from Land Rover
So without any further responses I just ordered them from Land Rover Switzerland, who have them listed as an OEM accessory, but they now also need to order them with Land Rover UK. Guess it is going to be a case of "We will see, said the blind man" You never actually own a Defender. Afraid that Duckworths do not list the covers for SVX front Recaros at all (VPLDS0038). They only list the seat covers for front and rear regular Defender seats which are quite different (VPLDS0011/12/13). Thanks for the suggestion, but think these items are so rare that Land Rover themselves remain my best bet. You never actually own a Defender. Ok, that sounds interesting. Will do that now. Incidentally, how do you like them? Quality, looks, fit?.... You never actually own a Defender. They look great, they have the L R logo printed in gloss black on the headrest part where the seats have them embossed underneath. The fit is fine with velcro holding the flaps through the 'square holes' - nice quality part ...

Sounds promising. Tried to call them on the only number listed on their site +44 8444 707381 , but that is not possible from outside the UK apparently. At least I only get a recorded message that this number is invalid. Guess it is one of those toll free numbers only for calls from within UK.
So sent them an e-mail for Dan's attention with the explanations, so now will see what I get answered. Will kepos You never actually own a Defender.
