only drove it up street once as it was out of MOT when I got it so don't know yet hopefully all welding will be done underneath for MOT until I can afford a new chassie but if it is too loud it will be coming out

UPDATE 8/7/12
Well after starting the service I realised that the threaded bar which runs the length of the airbox inside is U/S so I need anew airbox Couldnt change the fuel filter as there is no where to attach bracket too as PAS bottle is in the way so may need to move PAS bottle. Basically anybody know of anybody breaking a defender 300tdi? Took rear xmamber off as it was only held on with one piece of weld on each leg so will be grinding that back then going to have my first bash at welding putting it back on. Pictures to follow this evening |

People working on Land Rovers is never boring You're a braver man than me, though
The wiring loom for the rear lights and door electrics does pass through the length of the chassis, emerging just in front of the rear cross-member.
