Not good round here, most local roads are just passable by normal vehicles but the 90 had no problems at all earlier. Ottery St Mary, about 10 miles from here, is a massive lake. All of our surrounding rivers have burst their banks and added to the water coming off the fields things will get very interesting later. We are still under red alert, no surprise as it is still chucking it down. If it stops I am off to have a look at the ford about 1/2 a mile from us, I expect it will be impassable but will be good to get some pictures. I drove through the rains yesterday. Caught a downpour on the A303 and again up the M3. Wasn't too bad but I think I missed the worst of it along northern France and towards Antwerp last night.
Anyhoo, Arnhem is very sunny and hot, thanks Bob! (Perhaps I've just jinxed it!!)  |

Stopped for an hour, started again.
Local area made the SW news due to flooding at Donyatt. Can't even jet off to sunnier climes as I am still waiting for my new passport

We've spent the day on the sea at Wakestock, then sat out until 10pm, beautiful in Abersoch today.
Got home at 1am and it looks like it's rained here this evening |
