Hi
I'm going to Billing next month, probably will be renting a caravan...if not I'll take a tent! I'm planning on staying there for a few more days after... Can you tell me if you have any sort of guide or Camper's or Caravaning guide, one with all the camping sites in England and Scotland, with prices and amenities offered? What is the best to buy and is there an online shop to buy it (and a road map too)? Thanks ![]() Joao '10 Land Rover Defender 110 CC '08 BMW F800GS '64 SIIA Forward Control '69 SIIA 109 ZA CKD _____________________________________________ You have the right to remain silent. Best is to join cavarvan club, or camping and caravaning club, you get list of all sites, if you find a site if yoou are not a member of one of the clubs you would not get on.
Regarding other sites not sure if thier is a list, just buy a good map and some are shown, or go online and look for sites in the area were you wish to camp. ![]() Teddys are out thier http://teddybearspicnic.webs.com http://130sasha.co.uk/ |

You mean an UK club or I can join the Portuguese Club? We don't have to be members to camp here, what happens is that if you're not a member you don't have a discount on your day fee...
That's my problem, I don't know where I wish to camp... ![]() Joao '10 Land Rover Defender 110 CC '08 BMW F800GS '64 SIIA Forward Control '69 SIIA 109 ZA CKD _____________________________________________ You have the right to remain silent. For Europe we use, http://www.eurocampings.co.uk/en/europe/ But book wise acsi, as in link above does a very good book, or the AA do a good book, http://www.whsmith.co.uk/CatalogAndSearch/...0749572013 Also Michelin do a guide, but living in the country we tend to use the internet instead. Andy |

Just got a nice book by mail....camping&caravaning guide 2012...Not easy to read...
Got a question for you all, used to camp out there: In your experience, is it necessary to book for a caravan place in camping sites around england and scotland? Or there's always room (even in August) ? Having to book a place forces me to make a plan and organise everything. I don't like that, as I have no idea yet where I want to go....or I may want to change my plans in the mean time ... Do you think I might not find places to stay if I don't book in advance? And in France and Spain? For those of you who have camped there, is necessary to book in advance? Thanks Regards Joao '10 Land Rover Defender 110 CC '08 BMW F800GS '64 SIIA Forward Control '69 SIIA 109 ZA CKD _____________________________________________ You have the right to remain silent. Depends where, but generally yes. Lots of places are booked up solid during the school summer holidays. Darren

![]() Here in Portugal and Spain I know it's almos mandatory, especially near the beaches...I was hoping that over there was calm... Meaning it is better to develop a plan and stick to it, making reservations where I'm thinking of staying? This is a good website for finding campsites and reading reviews http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/ Just type in the name of the town your wanting to camp in, and it will give you a list of campsites in the area. |
