Stratstones Aylesbury v Stratstones Bury
bought 110 xs 2008 from Staratstone Aylesbury 13/6/12

15/6/12 EGR(think its called that) Valve making loud turkey sound, took to Bury Stratstone as i live Manchester workshp manager listenedfoe 2 seconds and told me what the fault was. spoke to aylesbury and agreed to replace under the warranty, 18/6/12 Clunkin noise from the clutch, Bury replaced valve and i was told yes clutch problem, Aylesbury wasnt going to cover the clutch, spoke to service and presto they would replace. Defender booked in with Bury and full clutch replacement carried out.

so overall good customer service from Stratstones both Aylesbury and Bury but think Bury slightly better might be a nothern thing.

been offer service deal �21 a month for three years giving 3 number service starting at 95K

is this as good as it seems approx �220 a service and free MOT inclusive of VAT ????

If that includes all parts and lubricants it's a good deal.

My first at Stratstone Wolverhampton was �250, Second was about �1000, third about �280. However, their performance was rubbish. Their best quote was "they all do that sir".

Of course as soon as the warranty had lapsed I went elsewhere.
