+ 3 Steve. Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades. Current Defender: A non tarts hand-bagged Puma 110 XS USW. [Insert something impressive here such as extensive list of previous Land Rovers or examples of your prestigeous and expensive items, trinkets, houses, bikes, vehicles etc] http://forums.lr4x4.com I used to be Miserable ...but now I'm ecstatic. |

Ask around the AWDC, BORC and many will tell you that there was a spell in prison for a group of people for ringing Land Rovers in the 1990's included people from the Staffs & Shropshire LRC as well as people from the Land Rover trade.
I have recently inspected a Simmonite bought 90. The tidiest Td5 you ever saw in silver, yet it was on a 300tdi chassis with 300tdi engine......also the bulkhead was red, silver on outside, brush painted black under the bonnet and red behind dash etc. The seats were gen heated, yet not wired up, td5 rear tub, yet the filler pipe was ran to under the seat tank. it shouts 'dubious'. The Puma on the original post of this thread, CLEARLY is NOT a genuine CSW, yet that's what the 'Land Rover experts' claim. If it seems dubious, it usually is, hence why I offered the advice of avoiding them. The reason I pm'd the original poster is because he was the one who's friend was possibly going fork out a spunk load of money, I thought I'd offer this advice.. There, now you know |

Agreed! They sold me the WRONG bulkhead, even when given the VIN number, and then refused to take it back! Even though it had not been altered in any way by me! An engine to TDi for! "Land Rover- Proudly turning drivers into mechanics since 1948" |

As noted, this is not a CSW - it has the commercial bulkhead behind the front seats - I went to have a look at it in their showrooms. Euro-Leafing to infinity and beyond.....

No high level brake light is always a sign of a HT conversion on the earlier models. That one doesn't look to have one.
