Hi guys, first post i did use the search function but so many came up regarding my question and none actually answered it (that i looked at)
A friend has a 110 that has been fairly kitted out, all the twisted bits, lights big roof rack the lot, the bit that interest's me the most was the wheel tire combo Guess<< the rim is a twisted one and the tires are 285/65r18 all terrain's. he told me no lift's or anything are necessary and the tire wheel combo will bolt straight on, i emailed twisted performance too a week ago with no reply yet, supposedly they are at a show.. this is the back of his defender with a tire and wheel, my question is, can i simply take off my current wheels off of my 90 and replace with these? http://www.pinkbike.com/photo/8335268/ cheers for any help (if anyone has any links to sites i can buy them would be appreciated) |

You could use 265/65/18 tyres, I did on mine:

My tyres came from 4x4 tyres, and wheels came from Devon 4x4 at the time. But wheels now only available from Twisted Performance and are now very pricey as I was quoted by Twisted recently for 5 wheels about £1428 inc vat, delivery, wheel nuts, centre caps and locking wheel nuts!...(no tyres)
Big Hop had a set of these wheels and tyres for sale in the For Sale section but has probably sold them by now. It was under the heading: Defender Parts For Sale, I think as I remember looking at his ad. |

So they are the exact tires in the pictures? (well not too bothered about compounds- if they change) will looks width height etc all be the same? Might be able to get 4x 285's at £150 a piece tomorrow.. |
