That was the sister vehicle to mine, I sold it several years ago to a lovely couple who will certainly have looked after it.

Looks like they kept it a little more standard than me though!

very nice but big money, so big you could not use it as to retain any sort of resale value the mileage would
have to be kept super low

I called them but he already has two Defenders with single figure miles as he put it. Had a few traders call and a couple of private buyers that want to view but I am away sailing for 10 days so will have to pick it all up when I get back....I'm in no rush to sell Whistle Big Cry

As much as I love them I wouldn't pay 25K for a 05 G4. If i did have one, as CR says, it would be well looked after and kept original to keep it's value. Nick from the Diesel Centre had one in mint condition, he stripped it out when he first got it (or rather his polish workers did!) and went right through it before putting it all back with the correct accessories, it was a beauty and would have been cherished!

Enjoy the sailing Thumbs Up

Sadly not got anything like your's / your proposed but nothing better than spending an afternoon sailing around in my 1959 Gull

would love to do a proper sailing tour on a big boat around the Caribbean.

Enjoy your 10 days

Wow that's an early one Shocked Great boats Thumbs Up Weren't they designed by Ian Proctor of Wayfarer/Topper fame? I still think the best sailing and fun is to be had in a dinghy Very Happy

No just along the Solent Tim. Only as far as Poole as we are going up a few estuaries and tying it in with a few sailing club meets. It's all good varied experience for me. I'm learning a lot sailing with a group of old salts - 10 boats going so far.

I don't think I will be coming down your way this summer as a rally has just been put on for the middle of August. It covers new areas I haven't been so have put my name down for it. Local knowledge is invaluable as you know. Probably won't have anything to tow it with anyway Shocked

Will give you buzz if I do get down to the Riviera Thumbs Up
