2008 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 SVX Station Wagon Santorini Black
Windows 7 tablet - ideal for navigation
Windows Tablet PC, Twin Atom processors, 1gb RAM, 30gb SD Disk, Windows 7 installed, AV installed and Memory map installed.

has wifi and bluetooth, touch screen and comes with keyboard and case, mains and 12v car charger

... I bought a toughbook and no longer need it .. cost me £299, will sell for offers around £180

(for navigation only a bluetooth gps device is required)

Would a cable usb gps device work if so i am interested If everything is under control you are not going fast enough.

yes it would, also a bluetooth device works.

you would need the windows drivers for the device.

I think i have got the disc for it somewhere in that dusty cupboard that all install cd's, various leads, batterys, phones, ink cartridges ect that end up hiding in.
I have used the wired gps on my acer laptop with microsoft autoroute but its a clumsy set up needs to be better, i have been thinking about a tablet but (i know i am a very odd one out) but i dont like apple particularly.
Let me know what it is and i will have a quick google ok. Ta If everything is under control you are not going fast enough.

Don't worry i have not forgotton about this i just have not had time t do any research as to what it will do that my laptop does, home on Sunday and will have a bit of research on it then ok If everything is under control you are not going fast enough.

You aren't odd......... it is just that there is a small group of us that know apple is evil Wink

As for drivers..... should either be able to download from their site, or when you plug it in it should automatically search online

Glynn - absolutely correct but if the device is not windows 7 compliant the sometimes you can run in xp compatibility mode but you need the drivers

Bloody computers......... Thank god my Toughbook is XP pro- nice and simples.

Then again, a GPS dongle is only a couple of quid nowerdays.

Sorry for the delay, on the above i am just waiting for the teccy wobblehead at work to see if it is comatible with our e-mails and works directives ect ect.
I dont understand i.t. enough
Hpe to have an answer by the weekend ok If everything is under control you are not going fast enough.
