A good day today. Didn't get there til mid morning. Bumped into loads of people who I hadn't seen in ages and had a good chat. Didn't spend much. A winch for the quad with some string rather than the nasty wire
 ., Mrs Walfy purchased a kelly kettle. Spent most of the time there chatting and catching up.

I was there and bagged an early morning bargain
Briefly spoke with Brendan and Barbara, Brendan was always busy when I passed so he has probably retired now 
Saw The Boy's 110 parked up behind one of the stands. Good day, shame the sun only came out after we left. Caught the sun so I look like a beetroot.
Saw my old Series 1 SNO 457, had a go at archery, and something to eat. Caught up with folk. But there was something severely lacking. NO HOG ROAST! Epic fail  JB

Just got back. Busy weekend - arrived Friday evening and had a few beers with Mark P and the other BLESMA marshalls then spent all day Saturday marking out for the record attempt and then marshalling it. Reversed back to let Nush park the Mudrut raider in front of mine and didn't see any of the show.
More beer Sat night and then spent today chilling out and looking round. Only new forum members I met were Brendan and Barbara, I picked the security bolts and bought some mud rails from him. was a good show our stand was next to Bren...The J.W . Speaker 110 caused some interest with the I.C.E fitted..and the new Evolution headlights..Some new faces about at this show too. I also have a burnt head n face after the sun eventually decided to turn up.....Ada Putting Dreams on Drives at JLR Solihull..

Popped in for a couple of hours, had a mooch around - unfortunately I was with wife and child who arent really that interested in anything other than peoples' dogs and the owl stand - bought 3 ice creams for £9 - what a bargain
at least it didnt rain for my duration  2005 TD5 90 Hard Top

travelled 2 hours (85 miles) each way for the show on sunday and spent around £150 around the show.
highlight was meeting and chatting to (in no particular order) Brendan and Barbara; Tim and Adafish plus friend (sorry missed your name); The Boy; and Ben and his partner on the archery. lowlight eating the worlds chrunchiest jam doughnut that had no sugar on it; and found out my welly has a leak ! happy days |

Good to see you hope you didn't get too cold. It was very nice to meet all those that I did. Big thanks to Tim for supplying me with a glove box that I have been meaning to get since I don’t know when. First opportunity I get I will be attaching it and will post some photos. Great bit of kit and great price, apart from the stuff I bought from the BLESMA auction (which I didn’t did not really need) was the buy of the weekend, thank you. On the way Friday I stopped off to buy some new welly’s as mine had a hole. 40 quid seemed a bit much but had to have something looking at the forecast. Of course never tried them and when I put them on Saturday morning ready to help BLESMA they were bloody tight. Killed me all day and when I took them off I got cramp in both legs which at least gave some entertainment to the group of warped minded fold I was with. I always thought if you were a 8 a 8 sized welly would fit, that seems not to be the case. May be I should have bought the ones from the for sale section? Boy |
