Goodyear ad on TV
Is it just me or should other tyre companies make a similar advert......

If a car can stop in a shorter distance when some ducks are crossing the road..... where is the advert where the car following hasn't got expensive tyres so slides straight into the back of it?.... Therefore you would have been better off buying a cheaper set- yes the ducks would be flat, but at least you haven't caused an accident and put your families lives at risk?

er, because
a) you wouldn't emergency stop for ducks if you had a truck/car behind you
b) it's a metaphor for not running someone over, hitting the back of the idiot in front who did just hit the brakes for the ducks
c) you were being cynical for comic affect right?

Thumbs Up

But on a note......... I don't know many 'regular' drivers who check their mirror before braking, and they are also the drivers who swerve/ brake for birds and cats etc. On many an occasion I have had to pull onto the verge/ other side of the road because the car in front of me has emergency stopped and even though I have had time to stop the trucks behind me wouldn't have.

Plus or £20 less a corner (of the size in the advert) you can get good set of performance Toyo or Falken.
