My original post was 'Debugg(ered)' in the Great Crash
I have a National Luna 50 Weekender Fridge Freezer that I wanted to fit in the FCX Puma 110 for a few upcoming camping weekends with my local 4x4 Club - www.Twinaxle.com I started out placing it in the rear of the 110 Utility Station Wagon but as it is a 'big boy' it took up a lot of space so below is my 'answer' utilising a redundant Discovery wheel carrier (at least I kept it Land Rover  )

The Weekender is a BIG bit of kit, I don't think people realise how big it is - I posted up previously on a thread about fridges warning about it's size
The beauty of the install is I've used the seat mounting bolts so no extra holes and refitting the seat is a 5min exercise, so I'm keeping it so get your paws off 
Edit Ahh, just sussed you are talking about the SVX Recaro - you can keep your paws off that as well ! |

Matt,
can you expand on the fitting. I take it you used the spare wheel bracket from the rear door in some fashion. Sounds an ace idea, as I have one spare and would like to make a similar platform for an Engel 45. great place this site...

The rear '40' seat is held with 6 bolts, 4 in the front which only the top two have to be fully removed and the bottom two just loosened and two captivated threaded bolts on top. We only used the top two captive bolts to hold the wheel carrier. We used a grinder to remove the three bolts on the wheel carrier that would hold the spare wheel - it is this surface that ends up face down to the floor. It is not quite wide enough to accommodate the two 'seat bolts' so a couple of saw cuts were made in the 'sides' of the carrier and this allowed a 'tab' to be bent down. We then drilled two holes in the carrier lining up with the bolts in the floor and using the original nuts bolted it down. This now gives you a platform to mount your fridge mount to ... I hope that makes sense. Our fridge is nice and stable with just the two fixingd in the floor but you could beef up the fixing by using a piece of angle to tie into the front seat mounts |

Cool, just been to the shed and pulled out the bracket, but alas off for a ruby now...
If its slashing down again tomorrow, it'll be my garage job...

I love how you say that but lets face it, when you come back your gonna want to get it ready for the next trip and then get rid of anything that doesn't work and try a new setup
