Describe the pic' for me. Images are blocked on this pc. Is it the one that looks like she's parked up in the middle of the wood/forest taken facing the front left hand corner?

Got the old girl back after our catastrophe in Normandy. Slave cylinder was indeed the culprit. A rubber seal inside had popped and leaked fluid out of the system.

Back driving again having been on the 21 bus for the last week.

The moral of the take is NEVER EVER EVER go anywhere in the UK or abroad without roadside assistance that will repatriate you home. Well worth a few quid each year, or checking you get it with your current account.

Thats a splendid SII, While I love my 110 you just cant stop grinning in a Series motor, as did my MOT man when he took my SI round the blocks to test the brakes, though that may have also been because the lad he had with him with the brake balance tool nearly went through the windscreen when he stomped on the pedal.

Needless to say it passed Rolling with laughter

Been to get mine weighed today at the local quarry weighbridge. 1t over the rear axle, 1.06t over the front (with both us sitting in it). Can now do some calculations to decide what springs to get for continuing its transformation into an overlander. Needs some HD springs with a bit of a lift, nothing too dramatic. Got a set of +2 Koni Heavy Track shocks on order.

Also popped down to meet Derrick at LRS Thumbs Up to check out the fit of some extra fuel tanks. Unfortunately they won't fit due to the roll cage mounts but at least we know now. Looks like we'll have to go back to plan A which was to get custom ones made. May work out cheaper in the long run too.

Wish this weather would get better though....... Sad

Passed its first MOT this morning. Surprised at the new style MOT receipt though, not very official looking...

Cheers!

Almost there with the head. All the donkey work is done. Just got to put it all back together. Already found some bolts that I don't recall what they are for Laughing.

After head it's rear transfer box oil seal then \check the brakes, then hopefully she'll pass.

The 110 did the usual perfect job of Saturday Kid's Taxi but I ended cursing the Parrot Asteroid head unit which decided to completely stop behaving - I'm getting very, very pee'd off with it now Twisted Evil John
