One of the places that I always have wanted to go, I luckily managed to get myself onto the school Geography trip there, Mainly to try and take some photos. It's a truly stunning place, I'd love to take the Defender out there, I'd say that good under body protection is important, and as has already been said a decent snorkel!!

I'm glad to report that after 2 years this trip is back on. Ferry booked and paid for leaving Denmark on 12 Jul 14 One issue is the car hasn't been built yet and I'm in Afghanistan again, but hey ho one step at a time. Hopefully pick the car up in Apr. we're going to do the same itinerary as the 2012 trip so minimal thought required.........
Roll on July! Cheers Ian |

Just booked the ferry for the 21th of june, return the 17 of july. Gives me 3 days at the Färoër islands and 3 weeks driving around Iceland in my 110 Puma. Booked for a car less then 1,90 meter high. Intended to lower the chassis to the axles with spanners, and lowering the tyrepressure. Looks like they don't bother.
Price for the ferry and 1 passenger and one meal a day is 1000€, and 50€ cancellation, that's abround 800£. Three friends are flying in. All tips for the 110 and places not to miss are welcome. Greetings, Peter |

Looks like you'll be coming back on the ferry we come out on!
Well we've got a build date for the Defender as next week and the wife has just picked up a Foxwing, some oztent chairs and some goanna stretchers so toys are on route. Just need to find a Waxoyl place and somewhere to fit the safari snorkel then we're set. |
