My 109 is named SEB cos its Southern Electri...you get the picture. The 88 is called Siegfried...something about resurrection? the Mrs named it anyway. I have never felt the need to name the 110 to bes honest, it just hasn't developed any kind of noticeable character yet.

I think the names that people give their Land Rovers (or any cars really) says more about the character of the person than the vehicle. Darren

Despite what I said earlier, I've just remembered we did have one Land Rover that got a name
It was a Series 3 with the reg TYG xxxL Not sure when or why but around our Land Rover club and then at home it got affectionately known as Tyg (pronounced Tig). Still refer to it as that now, when reminiscing ! |

The kids tended to pick names based on the registration numbers, however the 110 got christened Max Headroom after car park barrier signs rather than the TV character.
It fits quite well with the letters on the plate which are MXH John http://www.hampshire4x4response.co.uk 2011 Tdci 110 CSW XS |

I've never really understood the name a car thing, my white 110 is called "my 110", the green 90 300 tdi is called "my 90" and the other car is called "the fez" ... I had a red Mk2 RS2000 called HUX though

My daughter was 3 when I got my 110 and I explained that greenlaning was "exploring", so it inevitably ended up being known as Dora. Fully Restored 89 110 CSW V8
