I've been considering the focal to. I have seen ken is a big fan. But which ones to go for. Think I would stick to a budget of £100 because the wife wants new conservatory furniture. It's serious as she has taken the old stuff to charity shop.

you might struggle with that budget for focal's - there was the thread the other day with a great value speaker upgrade ...

the focal sub costs about £200, the top of the range one is £250 ish...

The Parrott is a standalone unit but just fancy better sound than the standard speakers provide.

Just depends what ever you fancy then really. Pick your prefered brand and have a look at power output ect. What ever you chose it'll be better quality no doubt. Thumbs Up âï¸âï¸God Bless the USA 🇬🇧🇺🇸 âï¸âï¸

Yes I know I read above. Do Pioneer not do the dash speakers you want? âï¸âï¸God Bless the USA 🇬🇧🇺🇸 âï¸âï¸

Yeah but thinking of pushing for something abit better. If I'd have done more research don't think I would have brought the pioneer sub. It's nothing amazing. Putting a little extra sound proofing to help the sound.

I follow you now you want something better quality. Alpine, Kenwood, Sony ect are all very good probably a few other premium brands too but I can't think of them all off the top of my head Thumbs Up âï¸âï¸God Bless the USA 🇬🇧🇺🇸 âï¸âï¸

Yes it's the sound I am after, not looking for a banging system. Something I can listen to all types of music on. I brought the Parrott for the hands free which is fantastic. But now the speakers in the dash seem to distort.

I cured the distortion by transferring the lower frequencies to a subwoofer. If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!!

I have the slightly older version of these:

I have painted mine gloss black to match the interior more. You'll also notice these are 3-way so can produce a better range of sound (Not trying to be exacting on details here Laughing ) I hav been very very pleased with mine and don't regret ditching the LR speakers what so ever much clearer and crisp. Only needs a bit of bass adding to it so a sub is the perfect solution which I am working on in time. âï¸âï¸God Bless the USA 🇬🇧🇺🇸 âï¸âï¸

I have a Kenwood din1 retractble DVD with 7 inch touchscreen conected to Garmin GPS module, plus bluetooth and USB and a Reverse camera that makes my manouvres in the dark garage a lot easier.
A second screen at the roof for the second row passengers ( my little daughter in fact).
I can navigate using the GPS or othr features in the main screen while the second one plays movies.
I am very happy with this solution. No more cables and plugs everywhere.
Now its time to upgrade the speakers....[img]
