Sorry - been "off the radar" a bit for a few days.
As we seem to be stuck at 15, I'll PM the remaining members to get their attention Markus is also about to make a big order to his supplier so it would be good to get this sorted soon... I've only 2 concerns as I've not done a "group buy" before: 1) How does the payment work? I would just pay Markus first and wait for you all to pay me into a UK bank? 2) However, payment should include delivery and I need to sort that out. To avoid high postage costs from Germany, Glynn suggested some plan (have to go back and check). Any suggestions much appreciated *Edit* Aha - I already mentioned £7 postage worst case scenario which i can organise if necessary Tell someone you love them today because life is short. Er...they look good
... at least as good (better?) than the alternatives! They're also stainless so won't rot (but maybe the originals don't either). I hoped the Td5 guys were already in as well Cheers Matt Tell someone you love them today because life is short. But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |

Okay! I've got 18 confirmed, so I'll order 20 just in case the stragglers (you know who you are ) decide later. As I said, I have to compromise and put the request in tomorrow due to ordering (Markus), holiday (me) and impatience (you lot) constraints
Sadly the last two "non confirmers" might miss out on this one but perhaps I can get a good deal later. Off I go... Tell someone you love them today because life is short. But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |

important question
I've made the order but it didn't occur to me to ask before - I've just been quoted a delivery time of 3-4 weeks for all 20 sets (they are made to order). Is that going to be okay with everyone? As they're made to order I have to pay now (I'll post the receipt on this thread) after which it would be nice to get some money from you guys a.s.a.p. However, if necessary, I can wait for payment until they're ready (since it's such a long time). I'll leave it up to you. Okay? Matt p.s. He has a couple of hinges in stock in case of latecomers Tell someone you love them today because life is short. But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |

Cheers
I haven't found postage cheaper than £7 yet so please wait a few days to transfer as I'm trying to "enlist" the help of some valiant serviceman on this forum with BFPO contacts in Germany to get the cost down. Any suggestions? Otherwise the total is £58 hinges + £7 postage and packing = £65. I'll PM everyone with my bank details now Matt Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
