Glyn, you've not had it long have you?

A whole 2.5 months old, but have covered 4500miles in that time. Started with white smoke at start-up, then came the lumpy idle, now smoke, knocking noise on startup and always having lumpy idle- all that since informing LR that I had the problem and their lack of urgency to get me anther 4x4

I know its not LR's fault - certainly not the guys who make or design them.

I do have a personal problem with LR Customer Disservice - they are half the problem!

It did seem bad when i rang them and confirmed the bolt the floor together!

I know a guy who owns an independent - trust him but all this is warranty work and that requires a dealer...infact all the faults are usally them fixing 1 or 2 core problems, but causing 10 or 20 other issues. Mike

You'd be surprised how much you can fit in a FL2 when you are forced to use it as a loan car Wink .
The last one I got had only 80km on the clock and when it went back it was full of dog hair and very used Mr. Green 2007 Defender 110

Im sure none of you will want to know my tails now.

But just been out, needed to use difflock and they have only not reconnected the diff/low selector properly.

Low works, diff either isnt working or there is no light and it didnt feel like it was working Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

I am going to be a little "miffed" tomorrow when i have to go out of my way to moan at the dealer. Mike

YES Exclamation its not always about the act or the size its about the principle and hassle

Im doubting myself on difflock but a drive round the car park to check yesterday PM and no light - so ive told them its either the light, the connector/switch or its not working...just to cover myself Mike
