Ex military series 1 stolen - Oxenhope, W.Yorks.
Not a Defender granted but given there seem to be a fair few Series owners on here.... Taken from LandyWatch where the poster got the info from LRSOC...

Bit more info and a heads up for Series owning folk in that area... This posted on Landywatch, where the poster took the info from the LRSOC forum.

Just had word from a pal of mine that another series one was taken in the past few days from this side of ripponden. it was stored on a farm in a barn well out of sight and away from the road. i dont know any other details as it was third hand info but it looks as though this is organised stealing to order as series ones are usually safe.

I had a conversation with a mechanic friend of mine, he told me that a local landy stealing crook has been let out of the nick just of late and is back upto his old tricks and yes he lives in bradford. the police will be aware of him so must have had a word with him about yours colin.
