D4's are lovely in all respects but the costs are what puts most off no doubt. And of course the size is large

I saw a really nice one yesterday that was lowered and on black alloys and black paint work but I thought having chrome mirrors ruined the lot myself.

I live fairly close to an American base so I see quite a few U.S. registered pick-ups and some of them are extremely stylish/cool looking. The one at the beginning of this thread has to be one of the ugliest I've seen though.

I'd go for an early 1960's Ford F150, given the choice. Preferably with a '58 Panhead DuoGlide in the back. Cool

The Audi is quite distinctive but the wheels let it down .. so I've decided not to buy one Thumbs Up

If money was no issue ?

A plot of land in Australia (somewhere around the Blue Mountains - in striking distance of Syndey and the Northern beaches, and the Outback)

On the land I would keep -
An off-road prepped 90
An off-road prepped 110
(Both autos)
An off-road caravan
An off-road Trailer
A big fat motorhome with extending sides.

A plot of land with a paddock or two and a magnificent view in the North York Moors (the best place in the World)

On the land I would keep
A stone farmhouse with beams and a big inglenook fireplace (about 3 bedrooms, nothing over the top)
A big barn to store lots of cars and Land Rovers, including our current ones and probably a new Range Rover and possibly a D4, and some sort of convertible sports car
A big workshop with a four poster lift and lots of tools for Dave to play with and fix my Land Rover...
A couple of stables for my horses - and space for associated bits and bobs
All weather menage.

Probably have a nice little cottage in Knaresborough too, cos I'd miss the Harrogate area if I left completely... (always lived there)

That's about it! Not being greedy am I?
Whistle Laughing
