If the revs are low and the throttle is hard down this can be expected a little as the engine is trying to pull hard max torque while the car is under a lot of load from the low revs you have on on a high gear. Its due to the driver demand torque which is instructed from your pedal position.

Hi
Its hard to give you an answer as I still dont know at what rpm and throttle postion you have a judder. It does seem from your last post that you may have been putting it into 6th a little to early in the rpm range and really loading the transmition up and this would could a drivetrain judder simply from the stresses you are putting on the car. Adding an intercooler and hybrid turbo will give more power than you have now for sure, but wont cure drivetrain loading issues as this is gearing. Pete |

PS, thank you all in the thread for your great comments on our tuning and customer support. Pete Pete how are you getting on with the 2.2, are you ready to market it yet? A few people have mentioned the issue in sixth gear, I had it at around 2,500 rpm until 2,800.
However my issue was definitely related to a decat exhaust, Pete supplied a different map and now it is brilliant. I see that Pete now advises caution with decat exhausts and back pressure, however the combination I am running now, pulls like a train. Great customer service and you get the impression, if you have a specific problem on your car, that Pete really wants to find a solution. |

If the shudder is only happening in sixth gear when there is the most residence in the driveline my guess is the clutch can't handle the extra torque.

i get the shudder in 5th and 6th at low revs, worse when towing, adjusted driving style stops it. i figured it was the propshaft complaining about the extra torque.
