Funnily enough, I was thinking that mine wasn't very effective yesterday, as well!
But it was better today. I keep mine swtiched on for most of the year, as it helps keep the car dehumidified as well, so I know the seals haven't shrunk through lack of use. I think it's just not a very powerful system, and being a diesel doesn't help either. It should feel cold at the vents, but unlike some modern cars, I don't think it ever gets cold enough to hurt! Saying that, I'm sure that I used to get some light 'frosting' on the ridge below the central vents, when I had both circular vents closed. I didn't yesterday. Finally, it has to be asked - You do have the airflow set to 'recurculate, and direction to face/feet, don't you? Makes a big difference.

It should feel quite cold in the front. Your's sounds as though the dealer needs to sort it. John

Same here. Difficult to get the exact temperature you want but mine can produce ice on the windscreen when directed to windscreen, so I'm happy. LANDYWATCH

Mine works fine too... Have to direct the front vent flaps to the roof, otherwise I get my right soulder frozen! Regards

Had ours on today, it gets "cold" but I wouldn't say freezing.

Even though I have a Puma, I have opening bulkhead flaps too.
Normally after a Bangalore Phal, and 3 pints.
