Nick T: don't know how long you've had the Puma, but it's outrageous that the Stealer hasn't sent you any of the records yet. I assume you have a copy of their sales material, which may state its service status. Otherwise, time to apply a little pressure methinks!

Thanks-I've never owned a new vehicle before so it's all new to me. For some reason I can't enlarge the above form. I'm getting the gist that the service may be overdue??

Did you buy the vehicle new? If so then you have missed the first service - Following PDI by the dealer the first service is due at either 12 months old or 12,000 miles which ever is first. If you are saying that you have just bought it and the dealer says it has been serviced prior to you buying it then the service record should be available from the dealer / Landrover (assuming main dealer). If it was serviced before you bought, at for example, 10,000 miles and 10 months old then the next service would be due at 22,000 miles or 22 months depending on which was sooner. Thats nothing ... some vehicle manufacturers quote fuel filter replacement as 60k ... Guns and Landrovers .... anything else is irrelevant. |
