Advice on roofrack for 130
Hi

I need a roofrack to carry rooftop tents (2) and other gear.
I have heard the chassis of the 130 is flexing a lot and therefore possibly gives a twisting load on the cabin when a full length roofrack is used (is possible to stiff).
Other option would be the use of two separate roofracks so twisting between cabin and load area is possible.
Is twisting of the chassis really a problem?
Did anyone came up with a solution?

cheers

Q.

I have a full length rack on my 130 HCPU and there does seem to be some body flex. I am thinking about splitting the rack to avoid future problems.

Got a full length Hannibal on J-Lo and not had any problems. The rack will move with the body.

Done loads of off road fully loaded with no issues.

Hi Andrew

Thank you for your information.
I had not planned such a harsh environment for our trip Very Happy
Fine to know even those trips are possible without problems.

Regards
