Mantec roof bars
Hey,

I'm thinking about buying a set of Mantec roof bars. Does anybody have experience with these? Are they good? Do they have the same dimensions as standard roofbars? I'm also looking for pics of these bars on a defender.

Thanks,
J

Zag, hope that is not your vehicle, as you are likely to lose those bars IF you drive anywhere as they do not appeared to be clamped to the gutters Razz Laughing

I think that's a promo picture from Mantecs' website and should be treated as 'for illustration purposes only'. Darren

Bought from Flat Dog UK £49.99 each ex VAT Great easy to deal with company with far despatch and good prices. And the bars themselves are perfect for what I wanted and look nice too. Thumbs Up

konabikes11, thanks for the picture? Is there a rubber seal between the clamp & the gutter?

Yes there is. I bought a small rubber sheet roughly 1ft x 1ft for about £2 - 3 from E-bay and cut to size. Works a treat there is also anti theft fixing available so I've heard Thumbs Up
