Very occasionally, I hear/feel a "farting" sound/vibration when simultaneously releasing the clutch and pushing the accelerator (yes, it's coming from the pedals and not my a*se!).
Anyone got ideas? I'm trying to cover everything by first service. Matt Tell someone you love them today because life is short. But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |

A few years ago I did similar in the A2 when a cheap rubber mat slipped forward and blocked the accelerator pedal. I almost ground to a halt on an autobahn (I had been doing just under 200 kmh) ... 
Seriously though, it's happened twice now in 2 weeks - never before - and with different shoes (walking boots and trainers). My characteristic paranoia is returning Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |

I forgot to say - I was almost stationary in traffic with no passengers.
I'm fairly sure it came from the clutch pedal (not the usual squeak). Tell someone you love them today because life is short. But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |

Apart from a sausage eating disorder, it may be a pedal return spring rubbing on some trim panel or odd thing behind the fascia panel.
