You're lucky with just couple of splashes, I had half of Salisbury Plain in my battery compartment
Some of the gaps were massive but now all sealed with Dum Dum Bob 2015 Jaguar XE240 R Sport - goes like ....... !! 2013 Defender 90 CSW - sold 2009 Defender 110 Double Cab - sold 2001 TD5 90 CSW - offroad project - sold to a forum member 2011 Porsche Boxster - for the sunny days ! |

I thought that may be the case Again why is it not done at the factory? One box is full of electronics and the other a battery it's obvious that water and dirt ect don't mix with batteries and electrical so why let it? Also another question to save putting up a new thread. The lockable clamps on the boxes that hold the lids down do these clamps have a special name or available elsewhere to buy? They'd be ideal for somthing I have in mind regarding the cubby box. Any info would be helpful

if you have the land rover standard battery, you should find a small breather pipe from one end of the battery, thru the underseat box, so there should be no problem sealing the box up.
just make sure it's ventilated if you are charging it |

Does that pipe replace the other breathers built in the bottom of the box? Puma 110" SW ............................................................. Earth first. Other planets later |
