Going to sling the CB from my D3 into the Defender for the Salisbury Plain weekend. I've got a gutter mount for the antenna but it can be "adapted" for a multitude of locations. Gutter mounting any good on the Defender? With all that aluminium kicking around I'm guessing some locations on the 90 are better than others.

Cheers Andrew,
Not overly worried about taking a small amount of paint off a gutter, but your comment about the mastic is ringing alarm bells. I'll leave the CB until last when I start slinging things in the car on Friday, so don't be too surprised if it's PMR only for the weekend ![]() |
