After considering buying one I would also have to agree on what they say.
It is a bit like a Nintendo Wii...... great for a few hours but then you get bored unless there are others there to play too..... but how many people do you know that have one? RIBs are way more practical and fun Glyn |

Theyre called stinkers around here - and a bloody noisy, nuisance!! Luckily banned from my sailing grounds
Sorry GREENI but anyone with half a brain as said would get bored within an hour, Being a more discerning type of fellow you need a RIB or even better get yourself under sail. Sailing is the most pleasurable and satisfying way to get from A-B rather than just driving around the water. Talk to BigFog about CATS if you want the thrill of speed and ease of storage, maintenance and getting yourself on the water quickly Sailing is easy and once you feel the rush of harnessing the wind there is no going back to engine power unless it's really necessary... Check out this Moth video....great fun 2-3' up in the air Go like stink as well.... #t=45s |

Yeah, I've being playing on a RIB for a while now, it's going have to be next year though before we get one
A jet ski seems very anti-social......suits me SunSeeker? We were in Pwllheli harbour a couple of weeks ago on the RIB, we parked up and walked around, it soon became apparent that we were paupers |

Well nothing, apart from they insist on fitting the bigget engines possible so they cut the bulkhead where the socalled patio do is so the doors are prone to sagging An oyster takes my fancy Russell 2011MY 110 XS USW Black |

My dream boat is a Drascombe Drifter 22, the modern equivalent to mine but at 40K + I'll be sticking with mine for a while but hoping they will sell one as a shell so I can fit it out myself which would make it affordable eventually
http://www.drascombe.org.uk/drascombe%20drifter%2022.htm It's a really well thought out little boat... |
