Think I know what today's job is....

Still, on the plus side, at least it missed the Sky dish

Just went out to get a paper and if it keeps raining like it is at the moment we will be cut off soon Thumbs Up

Both roads out of the village have massive floods, mainly water running off the fields but a couple of rivers are just about the break their banks. Depth of one of the floods was at the bottom of my doors, I had to go through a couple of times to check Rolling with laughter

Mr. Green ......There's probably a fancy name for it but I know it as a monkey puzzle tree. Quite pleasant on the eye but fairly nasty scales all over it which make it unpleasant to work with. The limbs do crackle nicely on a bonny though.

The trunk will deffo be firewood for next year worse case but somebody once told me wood turners go mad over it. Rather handily a tree surgeon mate lives just up the road so I can sound him out.

@ Lish - cheers mate, appreciate the offer but I'm suitably 'tooled up' here and looks like its going down the priority list as I'm trying to fathom out why the the RCD keeps tripping the power circuits. Hopefully third time lucky posting this ! Jon - 110 td5 [sold]. Currently Defenderless.

Was very lucky that it dried up enough to go dog walking along the Thame's in Marlow. Even a bit of blue sky appeared.

Off to watch the avengers. Will take the defender (still dirty) in case everywhere is under water when we come out Rolling with laughter ===================================

Still raining Rolling Eyes

Drainage ditches in the garden are within inches of breaking their banks. Fields out the back are a lake.

Looking on the bright side, the howling gale has stopped for now.
