1991 Defender 90 200 Tdi ST Alpine White

Ever seen this before - clutch??

I just had my clutch changed 3000 km ago - then it started not working again. It was a new one AP-driveline....

My mechanic took it out today - centre looked like this:

Paddock will ship me a new one if I pay and refund when they get the old one - if it is a defect centre that caused it.

Think next time I have the mechanic to order the parts - I have to pay about 700 eur for the second time in 3 weeks

some crap quality parts on these.

Clutches seem to be the weak poiint now

Where do people source clutches that wont implode? That picture is an absolute disgrace if it disintegrated under loads within specified tolerances. Was it an oem part? Current...07 90 Puma commercial

It is an AP - driveline - former Borg & Beck - should be ok. At least I have been told so.

Just got an email from AP - that they will give me a new clutch kit and cover my expenses

the bad one was from a very small batch that had been faulty.
